Last night I listened to Mike Pesca asking Maria Konnikova whether the BPA scare was bullshit. Turns out not only is all the alarmism around BPA plastics justified (you were right, Dana), but that BPS, the popular substitute for BPA used in a lot of “BPA-free” alternatives, is may be two to three times worse (I take that back, Dana).
How come this is not more of a thing? How come this is the first time I’ve heard about this? I’ve been microwaving plastics like crazy around my house.
Aiya… we’re all going to die. Just live.
